5 ways to do induction set




What is induction set? It is the first introduction activity done by teacher in classroom lesson to pique student interest for the upcoming lesson. There are plenty of way to do an induction set, here are some suggestions;

1. Sweet Talker
Talk and talk and talk and chit chat with your students bout the lesson / topic.

2. Show Off
Got that iPhone to show off? Or perhaps your PSP in class? Or you could waste time by projected some pictures via projector to the class.

3. Q & A
Ask questions related to the lesson / topic or about their incomplete yesterday’s homework.

4. Spot Check
Use that 5 minutes to check their previous homework.

5. Skip it.
