5 ways to deal with parent on Report Card Day

As a teacher, the hardest time of all in the year is having to face parents during Report Card Day, especially with those having the RED and the D's in their child's report. Here's some strategies to beat 'em;

1. Use the Nod & Nod style
Just keep on nodding for whatever they're saying (or complaining) about. By the time they'll finish talking they'll realize talking to you will only get them no where.

2. 50meters x 4
Why let them bark and drop all those bomb's to you. If they asked 'bout why the results so low, tell them to look for the subject teacher (since it's not you the one who gave that marks in the 1st place, right?) - so pass the baton.

3. Cant beat 'em? Join them
If they still not going to see the other teacher, then you interrupt and complaint about the teacher that gives that low marks. Just talk, and talk, then talk and talk more 'till they say "I agree with you, I'll see that teacher now".

4. Me Sick (of you).
This cheap trick always work. Just pretend you've got yourself a diarrhea, stomach ache (plus with a tissue-box + heavy smell of minyak cap kapak) will give them a clear signs.

5. Just take EL or MC
The easiest way ever is to take EL (Emergency Leave) or MC (Medical Check-up) on that day.
