How to use colours to teach
Every student should at least have pencil colours. Did you know that you can teach it in language class? Here's how.
1. Adjective:
- Show a colour pencil & make a sentence, eg. a green apple, a red shirt.
2. Idioms:
- ask them to do a research of colours used in idioms, eg; I'm green with envy.
3. Instruction based
- or simply gave students a paper, and a set of instruction (which u read aloud)
- this is to test student's awareness and comprehension of instructions
- eg. Draw a red circle, blue triangle, orange octagon, and so on. Its interesting.
- make sure all the shapes are all connected to one another, u'll find it very very interesting.
